The first quarter of 2022 showcased significant trends for the top 5 investing and financial management applications on the iOS platform in the United Arab Emirates. Data from Sensor Tower reveals intriguing patterns in weekly downloads and active users for these apps.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from 4.2K in late December 2021 and dropping to 3.0K by mid-March 2022, before a slight uptick to 4.0K by the end of the quarter. Its weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from around 28.1K to 22.7K over the same period.

CoinMENA: Buy Bitcoin Now saw a sharp increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 10.2K in the week of January 24. This spike was followed by a significant drop, with downloads falling to around 500 by the end of March. Weekly active users also surged to 7.6K in late January but then declined steadily, ending the quarter at about 1.6K.
